February 3, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider A2LD (a2ld.com) announced on Friday it has launched a new domain name auction site. The site will serve as a venue for the buying and selling of domain names and developed Web sites, bringing together domain name buyers and sellers alike.
Level 1 PCI DSS Certified Service Provider! DataPipe delivers the best network & support; top tier data centers; New York metro, Silicon Valley, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai. DataPipe - Personal Touch, Global Reach.
The domain name auction site targets experienced domain name traders, as well as industry newcomers. Users can register for free and list their domain names for sale, or place bids on other listed items. There is no charge for listing domains for sale, however, a 3 percent closing fee will be charged at auctions close.
A2LD’s private message board enables users to communicate, one-on-one, throughout negotiations. Once both parties agree on all aspects of a sale, the seller must accept the buyer's bid and the buyer must agree to the purchase.
An optional esrow service called "safe transfer" is also offered at the point-of-sale, which verifies that the funds will be available to the seller once the domain is re-registered. As added incentive, A2LD will enter all members who sign-up before April 1 into a raffle to win a 12-month hosting plan.
