January 27, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Hewlett-Packard (hp.com) announced on Thursday that it had named Thomas Hogan senior vice president of the software business within its Technology Solutions Group.
Hogan will report to Ann Livermore, executive vice president of the Technology Solutions Group.
Prior to joining HP, Hogan was CEO of Vignette, a Texas-based developer of enterprise content management software. He has also held positions at IBM and Siebel Systems.
"Tom is a seasoned software leader with a strong business track record," says Livermore. "His deep domain expertise makes him an ideal leader for our software business and a great addition to the HP team."
