January 23, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Software as a service delivery provider OpSource (opsource.net) announced on Wednesday the keynote speakers and panelists for its third annual SaaS Summit, held February 27 to 29 at The Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, California.
Keynote speakers will include Jim Steele, chief customer officer and president of international operations at salesforce.com, Greg Urquhart, Microsoft's GM for its US independent software vendor and systems integrator partner channel and Josh James, CEO of Omniture. Panelists will include on-demand experts from salesforce.com, Adobe Systems, Business Objects, Intel Capital, Oracle, SAP and Saugatuck Research, to name a few.
The SaaS Summit is designed to helping software as a service, on-demand and Web companies optimize their success in the Web software industry. This year's Summit will focus on how successful companies must not only think like Web companies, but also choose the right platforms and use Web services to build out and extend their offerings.
"This year, the focus will be how companies should evaluate the platform choices that are out there, and how mash-ups and Web services affect application development and integration," says OpSource CEO Treb Ryan. "We are excited about the topics and presenters that we are lining up for SasS Summit 2008 and expect record attendance this year based on early responses."
OpSource announced earlier this month it recently launched OpSource.net, an application that provides on-demand companies with analytics, Web services and data exporting capabilities.
