January 11, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Aplus.Net (aplus.net) announced on Wednesday its new lineup of senior and executive management, following up on last month's announcement that its headquarters will move from San Diego to Kansas in February.
The changes are designed to bring a more dynamic leadership team to Aplus.Net as it enters a new growth stage, while improving its ability to exceed the needs and expectations of its more than 200,000 customers. Aplus.Net's focus will remain on small businesses, helping them to build an online customer base by offering a wide range of services that include Web hosting, Web design, dedicated servers, online marketing, e-commerce and domain name registration.
Gabriel C. Murphy has taken over CEO duties, while Ryan Elledge taking on the role of COO. Both previously served at CommuniTech.Net, a Kansas-based Web host that Murphy co-founded. Russell Gilman, previously GM of Aplus.Net's support department, has been named the senior VP of customer care. Clarke Caines will remain in his role as senior VP of worldwide sales, and Matthew O?Neill will continue to serve as VP of business affairs. Nicholas Gaugler, formerly of CommuniTech.Net, has been named VP of development. Aplus.Net veterans Sneharthi Roy and Michael Howard will assume the roles of VP of the dedicated server business unit, and VP of accounting and finance, respectively.
"We've taken important and well-considered steps to ensure that the best possible management is in place to take us into Aplus.Net's next phase," says Murphy. "Much of the talent on board we've retained from Aplus.Net's previous formation, with a few notable additions and promotions. All changes have been made in the interest in making Aplus.Net the most viable and long-lasting company it can be. And, as before, Aplus.Net's priority is to meet and exceed the expectations of our valued customers in every way possible."
