January 10, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Hosted Solutions (hostedsolutions.com) announced on Monday it will celebrate the expansion of its Raleigh, North Carolina data center with a "Grand Reopening Party". The event, held at 5301 Departure Drive in Raleigh on January 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., will showcase the expansion of the facility.
The new 18,000 square foot addition brings the facility's total capacity to 31,000 square feet. Designed to provide a high availability platform to support the company's aggressive growth strategy in the RTP market, the facility is now equipped with robust and fully redundant electrical systems, HVAC infrastructure and multi-provider network access deployed in a best practice 2n+1 configuration to maximize redundancies.
Additionally, the Raleigh data center offers advanced physical security and next-generation building automation systems, a robust line of Hi-Touch managed services and is fully managed by around the clock operations and engineering teams. Other features include infrastructure enhancements, a new Network Operations Center, unique staging area where customers will be able to import, build and test their server environments in a developmental setting and disaster recovery suites.
"The demand for managed hosting services is growing rapidly and the Raleigh data center expansion lets us meet that need in a manner that bolsters our industry reputation of reliability, security, and redundancy," says Rich Lee, founder and CEO of Hosted Solutions.
