January 9, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Domain registrar and Web hosting provider Go Daddy (godaddy.com) announced on Tuesday that its newest Go Daddy Girl, Amanda Beard, will be featured in her own segment on Fox TV's Best Damn Sports Show Period. It's all part of an exclusive partnership sponsored by Go Daddy and will air tonight at 9 p.m. on Fox Sports Network.
Go Daddy says Beard will take viewers inside the edgier side of sports for her first assignment where she reports from the heart of Bourbon Street in New Orleans and was actually shooting her segment while Americans watched Louisiana State beat Ohio State in the BCS Championship game Monday evening. Beard will also be guest starring on the 6th annual Best Damn Super Bowl Roadshow Period, where she'll be hosting her own segment from January 30 to February 1.
"Amanda is an accomplished athlete. She's clearly articulate and of course she's smokin' hot," says Bob Parsons, founder and CEO of Go Daddy. "What we really like about her is the GoDaddy-esque style she puts into her reporting. She's totally in line with the no-holds barred approach on Best Damn Sports."
Go Daddy says Parsons is currently working with Fox to get a commercial approved for next month's Super Bowl broadcast originating from Arizona.
Last week, Go Daddy announced that its SSL market share had increased by 63 percent over the past year.
