Newtek Appoints Senior Managers

January 7, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Newtek Business Services (newtekbusinessservices.com) announced on Monday it has named three new senior managers. Dian F. Gamble was named senior VP of operations while David Schreffler was appointed to VP of health insurance and employee benefits, both in Newtek's insurance agency. Additionally, Robert T. Hawes was hired as a senior VP in Newtek's small business lender.
Gamble has had nearly 30 years of experience working in the insurance industry, having most recently held senior positions at Nationwide Insurance Companies. She will manage the production process at Newtek's insurance agency. Schreffler has over 20 years of experience in the insurance field, and most recently served as regional director at Rogers Benefit Group. He will be responsible for growing the health and employee benefits operation for Newtek's insurance agency to meet the growing demand for these types of products and services.
Hawes has over 30 years of experience in the financial services arena. He joins Newtek's small business lender from Business Loan Express where he served as the senior VP of servicing. At Newtek, he will be responsible for launching and managing the company's lending business to include the acquisition and servicing of non-performing loans.
