January 2, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Advanced Internet Technologies (ait.com) announced on Friday that it is offering discounts on its website template bundles to help small to medium-sized businesses build an online presence and boost their sales.
According to the On-Line Retail Satisfaction survey, higher food and gas prices prompted more shoppers than ever to make their 2007 holiday purchases online rather than physically going out and buying their gifts this year. AIT says this is a large part of the reason why it wants to help SMBs create a presence online to boost their overall sales, not only during the holidays, but throughout the year.
The company says the website template bundles have been discounted from 20 to 40 percent and the promotion will last through the first quarter of 2008.
"While the holiday shopping season may be coming to a close, the high cost of going to the mall will continue," says Josh Wilkie, online sales manager for AIT. "Therefore small, medium and enterprise class businesses must seize the day and reach out to consumers online in 2008."
