AIT says it now has points of presence in thousands of locations and customers can have high-speed Internet access almost anywhere in the United States without paying long distance charges.

The company says AITAccess provides fast Internet connectivity through its high-speed national backbone. All its accounts feature unlimited access, enabling customers to connect any time for as long as they want.

Each AITAccess account comes with Web hosting and free email service.

AIT also recently announced it is offering merchant commerce and payment services, a merchant account gateway that offers different credit card processing options depending on whether a company wants to sell on the Internet, in its retail storefront.
