Black Lotus is looking for highly reliable technical support professionals to operate the Network Operations Center at Los Angeles, CA. Duties will include: – Assessing and responding to trouble calls, received by telephone or electronically – Commencing remedial actions to trouble calls, adhering to strictly enforced trouble call and service SLA’s. – Detecting, identifying, and mitigating DDoS attacks against routers, switches, and servers – Installing and maintaining server, network, and cloud infrastructure – Performing systems administration and security risk mitigation on Linux, FreeBSD, and Windows servers – Working independently or as a team, staying in constant contact with team members and customers at all levels of the organization To remain competition for this position, you must possess the following skills and experience: – Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Expert level at Linux administration – Prior experience in technical support, specifically hosted services – Prior experience building and maintaining TCP/IP networks Candidates possessing the following critical skills will be considered for additional pay incentives: – JNCIA or higher certification – CISSP certification – Mandarin Chinese fluency Are you ready to serve on the bleeding edge of DDoS attack mitigation technology?
