Notable Industry Appointments in 2003

December 30, 2003 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- A recap of this year's most significant Web hosting industry appointments.

November 2003

Interland Appoints Board Member

Interland said on November 25 that John Patrick Crecine had been elected to the company's board of directors. Crecine is currently chief executive officer of B.P.T. Inc. and CFO of Islandless Network LLC. He previously served as president of the Georgia Institute of Technology and was senior vice president and provost at Carnegie Mellon University.

Mirror Image Appoints VP of Sales

Mirror Image Internet said on November 24 that it had appointed Frank Brilliant as the company's vice president of sales, making him responsible for managing and building the sales team and driving the overall growth of the company. Before joining Mirror Image, Brilliant held VP positions with Arch Wireless and BizRate.com.

eXchange @ 200 Paul Names Sales Director

Exchange @ 200 Paul announced on November 24 that it had appointed David Miles director of sales at the company, where he would be responsible for expanding eXchange @ 200 Paul's customer base and leading its marketing strategy and product development. Previously, Miles held several senior positions with Technology Integration Group, and with Web hosting firms Digex and Verio.

Kanoodle Names Information Chief

Pay-per-click search engine operator Kanoodle said on November 21 that it had named Dave Casion its chief information officer. The newly-created position was designed to respond to the company's recent growth. Casion would be responsible for the speed, performance and reliability of Kanoodle's applications and equipment.

Hostingplex Names Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Hostingplex announced on November 13 that it had appointed David Harris as vice president of marketing and sales at the company making him responsible for heading the company's sales and marketing efforts and oversee the growth of its overall customer base. He was previously in charge of marketing and sales for Whitby, Ontario-based National Leisure.

NaviSite Europe Names Managing Director

NaviSite subsidiary NaviSite Europe said on November 10 that it had appointed Stephen Scott as managing director, charging him with overseeing and spearheading the growth of the company's European operations from its headquarters in London. Hosting industry veteran Scott recently served as managing director of PSINet UK, and held senior management positions with service providers Global Switch and Keybridge.

EDS Announces Senior Appointments

EDS said on November 6 that it had promoted Michael Boustridge to vice president of the global sales division and Scot McDonald to vice president, controller and chief accounting officer. Boustridge replaced Steve Smith, and would lead EDS's major sales pursuits. McDonald replaced Mike Milton, and had served as the company's chief accounting officer since 2001.

Hostway Names Sales and Marketing VP

Hostway announced on November 3 that it had appointed Michael C. Krauss as senior vice president of sales, marketing and planning, making him responsible for leading the execution of the company's sales, marketing and planning strategies, including product development and branding initiatives. Krauss previously served as partner and chief marketing officer at consulting firm Diamond Cluster International.

Akamai Names Chief Operating Officer

Akamai Technologies announced on November 3 that it had named Michael Ruffolo its chief operating officer. Ruffolo would be responsible for achieving Akamai's operational objectives with a clear focus on profitable revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention and technology innovation. Ruffolo joined Akamai as executive vice president in August of 2001.

October 2003

EarthLink Appoints New Board Members

Earthlink said on October 24 that it had appointed Bill Harris, former CEO of both Intuit and PayPal, and Terrell Jones, founder of Travelocity and former CIO of Sabre Inc., to its board of directors.

Arsenal Digital Names Commercial Officer

Arsenal Digital Solutions said on October 21 that it had appointed telco veteran Samuel Sigarto as the company's chief commercial officer, making him responsible for Arsenal's new channel and business development organization.

NaviSite Names New Board Member

NaviSite announced on October 17 that it had appointed Thomas R. Evans to the company's board of directors, effective October 3, 2003. Evans was also named to the company's audit committee, filling a spot left vacant by Kenneth MacAlpine in July.

MCI Names Chief Ethics Officer

MCI said October 14 that it had appointed Nancy Higgins as executive vice president of Ethics and chief ethics officer. Higgins most recently served as vice president of ethics and business conduct for Lockheed Martin, and would report to CEO Michael Capellas.

ZooLink Names President and CEO

ZooLink said on October 10 that it had named West McDonald to the position of president and chief executive officer, effective October 7, after outgoing president and CEO Ali Shakwat stepped down to focus on international development.

Via NET.WORKS Names Board Members

VIA NET.WORKS said on October 7 that it had appointed Karen Slatford and Jan Gesmar-Larsen to its board of directors, adding that Stephen J. Eley was stepping down from the board after serving for more than four years.

Keynote Systems Names New CEO

Keynote Systems announced on October 1 that it had named vice president of finance Peter J. Maloney to the position of chief financial officer, replacing outgoing CFO John Flavio, who resigned from the position after serving more than four years.

Switch and Data Names Board Member

Switch and Data announced on October 1 that it had appointed Kathleen Earley to its board of directors. Earley is a technology veteran who most recently served as senior vice president of data and Internet services at AT&T, and prior to that worked with IBM.

September 2003

Microsoft Names Communications VP

Microsoft said on September 26 that it had appointed Maria Martinez VP of the communications and mobile solutions unit of the Communications Sector, part of the company's Mobile and Embedded Devices business.

NaviSite Names Two Senior Executives

NaviSite announced on September 23 that it had appointed Denis Martin to the new position of senior vice president of corporate development. Succeeding Martin as VP of product management would be Will Scott.

Akamai Names New VP, General Counsel

Akamai Technologies said on September 22 that it had appointed Melanie Haratunian as its vice president and general counsel, replacing Kathryn Meyer, who resigned for personal reasons. Before joining Akamai, Harantunian served at Allegiance Telecom.

Internet America Appoints New CEO

Internet America Inc. said September 22 that its board of directors had selected William E. Ladin Jr. as the company's chairman and chief executive officer. Ladin replaced former chairman and CEL Jack T. Smith who would continue to serve as a consultant.

Terremark Names New Board Member

Terremark Worldwide Inc. said on September 9 that it that it had named Antonio S. Fernandez to its board of directors, where he would serve on the network access point operator's audit and compensation committees.

NaviSite Appoints General Counsel

NaviSite said on September 9 that it had appointed Kenneth Drake as the company's new general counsel, replacing NaviSite's acting general counsel, Rick DeWaele. Drake would provide strategic counsel to senior management and oversee legal and regulatory affairs.

Teros Appoints VP Worldwide Sales

Server software firm Teros announced on September 5 that it had appointed Brian Nugent as the company's senior vice president of worldwide sales. He would join the company's executive management team and report to president and CEO Bob Walters.

MCI Appoints New Board Members

MCI announced on September 2 that it had appointed five new members to its board of directors, including W. Grant Gregory, Judith Haberkorn, Laurence Harris, Eric Holder and David Matlin, bringing the total number of directors at the company to nine.

August 2003

Red Hat Names Marketing VP

Red Hat Inc. said August 25 that it had named John Young vice president of marketing. Young would lead the global marketing division, which includes strategic marketing, brand management, marketing programs and corporate communications.

Opsware Appoints Board Members

Opsware Inc. said August 20 that it had appointed Mike Volpi and Mike Homer to its board of directors. Volpi was a senior vice president at Cisco Systems and Horner was chairman and CEO of Kontiki.

MCI Appoints President and COO

MCI announced on August 13 that it had appointed Richard Roscitt as president and chief operating officer. Roscitt would oversee MCI's core operating units and would report to CEO Michael Capellas. Roscitt served as president and CEO of AT&T solutions.

Texas.Net Appoints Sales Executive

Texas.Net said August 13 that it had appointed Mark Noonan its vice president of sales, promoting Ed Espinoza to director of sales, data center services. Noonan would lead Texas.Net's sales growth strategies and manage its sales team.

VeriSign Appoints VP of Human Resources

VeriSign announced August 12 that it had appointed George Haddad as its senior vice president of human resources. Haddad has more than 20 years of IT human resources experience, most recently as VP of human resources, CRM division at AMDOCS Inc.

Affinity Expands Management Team

Affinity Internet said August 8 that it had appointed three new members to its management team. Jim Collins, the company's COO has become chief marketing officer. Replacing Collins as COO was John Ranieri. Paul Evenson was named vice president of operations.

ServePath Names Customer Service Manager

ServePath said August 6 that it had hired Janet Cornell to fill the role of customer service manager. Cornell has 18 years experience building support operations, most recently with AboveNet and Telegis Networks.

Sphera Appoints President and CEO

Sphera said on August 1 that it had appointed Michael J. Gold as its new president and CEO, replacing Sphera's acting CEO Adi Pundak-Mintz. Gold was previously vice president of Internet products at Qwest.

July 2003

OpSource Names New Chairman

Infrastructure services company OpSource Inc. said on July 28 that it had appointed Mark F. Spagnolo, CEO of Broadwing Communications, as chairman of its board of directors. Spagnolo was previously CEO and president of UUNET. OpSource said it has set the bar high for growth following 12 months of very strong performance.

Foundstone Names Business Dev. Officer

Security strategy company Foundstone said on July 17 that it had appointed Frank E. Conti to the newly created position of senior business development officer - financial services. Conti will be responsible for expanding Foundstone's educational, product and service capabilities to help financial services customers ensure business continuity, security and compliance.

Public Interest Registry Names Director

Non-profit .org domain management organization the Public Interest Registry announced on July 15 that it had appointed Lawrence C. Martin as its director of finance and administration. Martin would oversee the organization's financial management and will be responsible for administrative functions such as risk management and benefits administration.

ServerVault Appoints New CEO

ServerVault said on July 10 that it had appointed John F. Kraft as the company's president and chief executive officer. The company said Kraft would bring a broad base of management and industry experience to the position and is well suited to lead ServerVault through upcoming opportunities. Before joining ServerVault, Kraft was president and COO at PSINet US.

BlueStar Makes Changes to Board

BlueStar Solutions announced on July 8 that it had made changes to its board of directors, including the addition of Agilera board members, following its acquisition by Agilera. The new board members included Justin L. Jaschke, CEO of Verio, Rand Lewis of Centennial Ventures and Shaun Gilmore, former CEO of Agilera.

Fusepoint Appoints New Vice President

Fusepoint Managed Services announced on July 7 that it had appointed Bruce Derraugh to the position of vice president of national sales, following a doubling of the company's customer base through the first half of 2003. Before joining Fusepoint, Derraugh worked with Bell Canada and held several key sales and management roles at Hewlett-Packard.

June 2003

Verio Names VP of Development

Verio announced on June 26 that it had named Todd Siegler its senior vice president of corporate development. In the role, Siegler would oversee corporate development initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions and strategic partnerships.

Microsft Appoints Privacy Strategist

Microsoft said on June 23 that it had appointed Peter Cullen its chief privacy strategist. Cullen would report to chief trustworthy computing strategist Scott Charney and will work to ensure that privacy protection with Microsoft products, services and internal processes.

XO Names VP of Network Services

XO Communications said on June 18 that it had appointed Doug Kelly as executive vice president of network services. In the role, Kelly would oversee the communications firm's service delivery, service assurance and network performance functions.

Register.com Replaces Departing CEO

Register.com said on June 16 that president and CEO Richard D. Forman, co- founder of the company, had resigned from his position, effective immediately, and would be replaced in both roles by Peter A. Forman, also a co-founder.

XO Appoints VP and General Counsel

XO Communications announced on June 13 that it had appointed Lee Weiner as senior vice president and general counsel, making him responsible for overseeing all of the company's legal affairs. Before Joining XO, Weiner was executive vice president, general counsel and secretary at Net2000 Communications, and held senior positions at MCI.

VeriSign Names Executive VP

VeriSign Inc. announced on June 5 that it had named Vernon Irvin as executive vice president of the company's Telecommunications Services Group. Before joining VeriSign, said the company, Irvin worked for American Management Systems, serving as executive vice president and general manager of the global communications, media and entertainment practice.

VeriSign Appoints VP of Development

VeriSign announced on June 3 that it had appointed Chris Parsons to the position of vice president of strategic development. Before joining the company, said VeriSign, Parsons served as vice president of strategy, alliances and business development at BellSouth. Prior to BellSouth, Parsons worked for 10 years with MCI Systemhouse.

May 2003

Positive Networks Names Board Member

Positive Networks said May 28 that it had appointed Verio founder and CEO Justin Jaschke to its board of directors. Jaschke was a participant in Positive Networks' recently closed round of investment, says the company.

C&W Replaces Departing Director

Cable & Wireless announced on May 27 that Win Bischoff, a board member since 1991, would retire from the position following the company's general meeting on July 25. The company said it had appointed Graham Howe and Kasper Rorsted as non-executive directors.

Host Europe Appoints New Board

Host Europe said on May 16 that its current board had agreed to resign, with the exception of CEO Abby Hardoon, and would be replaced with a new board, led by Hardoon, Victor Gareh and Marcus James Paul Lauder, owners of 40 percent of Host Europe's shares.

Data Return Founder Returns

Investment firm Saratoga Partners said May 15 that it had acquired the managed hosting business of Divine, Inc. in a bankruptcy court auction, re- launching the business under its original Data Return brand, and appointing Data Return founder Sunny Vanderbeck as the company's CEO.

Red Hat Adds New Board Member

Red Hat said on May 14 that W. Steve Albrecht, associate dean of the Marriott School of Management and Arthur Anderson professor at Brigham Young University, had joined the company's board of directors.

Globix Names CFO

Globix Corporation said on May 12 that it had appointed Robert Dennerlein as the company's chief financial officer. He would replace John D. McCarthy, who served as acting CFO during the company's restructuring. Dennerlein first joined Globix in January 2003 as vice-president and corporate controller.

Radiant Exec Named to CIRA Board

Radiant communications announced on May 9 that Elanor Jang, vice president of services delivery at Radiant had been appointed to the Canadian Internet Registration Authority's board of directors. Jang's term on the board will run until May 2005.

NaviSite Appoints Board Member

NaviSite announced on May 6 that it had named Larry W. Schwartz to the spot on its board of directors vacated by Jim Pluntze, who was recently named CFO. Schwartz was senior vice president of operations and chief restructuring officer at Genuity Inc.

April 2003

RLX Names CEO, CFO

Blade server maker RLX Technologies Inc. said April 30 that it had appointed Douglas J. Erwin as chairman and CEO and Kevin Klausmeyer as CFO. Both Erwin and Klausmeyer previously held senior positions with PentaSafe Security Technologies Inc. and BMC Software.

XO Appoints New CEO

XO Communications said on April 29 that it had hired Carl J. Grivner as the company's new CEO, effective May 15, 2003. Griver succeeds Daniel Ackerson, who resigned January 16, 2003. Before joining XO, Grivner served as COO of Global Crossing.

NaviSite Appoints New CFO

NaviSite said on April 25 that it had appointed Jim Pluntze as CFO, making him responsible for overseeing all of the company's financial, accounting and reporting functions. Pluntz had served on NaviSite's board of directors as chairman of its audit committee.

RampRate Names CFO, COO

RampRate said on April 24 that it had appointed senior finance and operations executive Mark Smialowicz as its new chief financial officer and chief operating officer. RampRate says Smialowicz will assume a strategic role in further defining and extending the company's data-driven sourcing model.

LayerOne Names CEO

LayerOne announced on April 21 that it had appointed Brandon Freeman president and CEO of the company. Freeman had served as COO of LayerOne since co-founding the company in 1999, and was responsible for its day-to- day management.

TeleCity Names Finance Director

Telecity announced on April 17 that it had appointed Josh Joshi as the company's new group finance director. Joshi previously served as CFO of Storm Telecommunications and has worked for Arthur Andersen, and would help TeleCity build on its platform.

Level 3 Names Board Member

Level 3 Communications announced on April 17 that it had named Lucent veteran Arun Netravali to the company's board of directors. Netravali was chief scientist for Lucent technologies, said Level 3, where he worked on developing networking technologies.

Affinity Internet Names New CEO

Affinity Internet announced on April 14 that it has appointed Peter Chambers the company's CEO, making him responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the organization. Affinity said Chambers was a veteran of both service providers and solutions developers.

GeoTrust Names Board Member, CTO

GeoTrust announced on April 14 that it had named Robert Streinkrauss to its board of directors, at the same time appointing John Adams to the position of CTO. Both appointees have extensive experience in information security: Streinkrauss with Lucent Technologies and Raptor Systems; and Adams with RSA Security and Digital Equipment Corporation.

Media Temple Appoints New CEO

Media Temple announced on April 4 that it had appointed Demian Sellfors as the company's new president and chief executive officer. Sellfors's company Intergress Technologies merged with Media Temple in 1999. Since then he had helped expand its customer base and implemented a community and marketing design strategy leading to revenue and growth for Media Temple.

C&W Appoints New CEO and COO

Cable & Wireless announced on April 2 that it has appointed Francesco Caio as its new chief executive officer, at the same time announcing the creation of a new post, chief operating officer, to be filled by Kevin Loosemore. Both appointees have telecommunications and technology experience: Caio with Netscalibur, Omnitel and Merloni; and Loosemore with Motorola and IBM UK.

March 2003

Verio Appoints New CFO

Web hosting company Verio said on March 31 that it had named Calvin Quan its senior vice president and CFO. Verio said Quan would bring more than 20 years of experience to the position, through his work in the global technology sector. He would report directly to president and CEO Justin Jaschke.

Redbus Interhouse Names CEO

Colocation company Redbus Interhouse announced on March 27 that it had appointed Michael Tobin as the company's chief executive officer, promoting him from director of sales and marketing. Tobin's primary role would be developing a strategy to keep the company on the road to profitability and driving new business into facilities across Europe.

Arsenal Announces Appointments

Storage management provider Arsenal Digital Solutions said March 25 that it had appointed several new top executives. The company named Randy Whitehead COO, responsible for all of Arsenal's global operations, continuing to scale the company's operations and customers. Arsenal also appointed Dan Lewis its chief commercial officer, responsible for market strategy and the development of new products and partner and customer relationships.

Savvis Names VP and General Manager

Managed IP and hosting services provider SAVVIS Communications announced on March 25 that it had appointed Gregory Furst as vice president and general manager of hosting services. SAVVIS said Furst would oversee the company's expanding hosting business, including overall direction and strategy, new initiatives and technologies and market penetration.

ServerVault Names New CEO

Web hosting provider ServerVault announced on March 24 that its founder, president and CEO Patrick J. Sweeney II would step down from daily operations, and would be replaced as president and CEO by Mike O'Brien. Sweeney stepped down to spend more time with his family, and would remain involved with the company as a consultant and board member.

ICANN Names President and CEO

Internet Regulatory body ICANN announced on March 24 that it had named Australian Dr. Paul Twomey as the organization's new president and CEO, replacing the retiring Stuart Lynn, who has held the position for two years. Twomey, the first non-US citizen to head the organization, served as the first chair of the ICANN Governmental Advisory Committee, for three years.

EDS Announces Replacement of CEO

Outsourcing giant EDS announced on March 21 that it had named Michael H. Jordan to the position of chairman and CEO, replacing a departing Richard H. Brown. At the same time, the company appointed Jeffrey M. Heller as president and COO. According to EDS, the company's board of directors and Brown both agreed that a leadership change would be in the best interests of the company.

Daniels & Associates Appoints VP

Mergers and acquisitions specialist Daniels & Associates announced on March 13 that it had appointed Steve Hubbard to the position of vice president. Hubbard, said Daniels, would provide mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and financial advisory services to clients in the information technology and telecommunications industries.

Level 3 Appoints New Group VP

Communications carrier Level 3 announced on March 13 that it had appointed Sunit S. Patel to the position of group vice president, and expected he would succeed Sureel Choksi as Level 3's chief financial officer in May of 2003, following the company's annual stockholders meeting. Level 3 says Patel brings an extensive amount of telecommunications industry experience to his new position.

Loudeye Names President and CEO

Web-casting and digital media solutions provider Loudeye Corp. said on March 12 that it had appointed Jeff Cavins as the company's president and chief executive officer, replacing the resigning Phil Gioia. Cavins was also named to the company's board of directors. At the same time, director Anthony Bay replaced Waite as Chairman of the board. Cavins, who joined the company in November of 2002, would guide strategic direction.

Daniels & Associates Appoints VPs

Daniels & Associates announced on March 11 that it had appointed both Bill Fowler and Craig Moseley each to the position of executive vice president. Fowler would continue to serve as CFO, taking on new responsibilities in human resources and administration. Moseley would manage the firm's Internet Technologies Group, of which he was a founder.

Rackspace Appoints VP of Sales

Managed hosting provider Rackspace Managed Hosting announced on March 11 that it had named Glenn Reinus as vice president of sales, making him responsible for building and managing the company's sales organization. According to Rackspace, Reinus has 20 years of sales management and business development experience in telecommunications, networking and Internet software.

Star Internet Appoints Executive

UK provider Star Internet said March 5 that it had named Simon Coulshaw its sales and marketing director, responsible for driving the brand in key target market sectors. Coulshaw and CEO Ben White would create a marketing strategy to build on existing successes.

Plesk Founders Return

Hosting software maker Plesk said on March 3 that founders Jamie Marraccini and Dmitri Simonenko had returned to the company as president, and chairman and chief executive, respectively, replacing CEO George Pappas and COO Neil Condon.

RampRate Appoints New VP

Technology advisor RampRate said on March 3 that it had appointed Greg Quinn its vice president of technology advisory services. Quinn would be responsible for vendor recruitment and services, and for further refining RampRate's data-driven sourcing model.

Rackspace Europe Names Business Manager

Rackspace Managed Hosting Europe said March 3 that it had named Fabio Torlini its new business manager. Torlini would be responsible for running day-to-day operations at Rackspace Europe, and will report to managing director Dominic Monkhouse.

February 2003

NaviSite Appoints New CEO

NaviSite Inc. said Friday, February 21 that it had appointed a new chief executive officer, Arthur Becker to replace Trish Gilligan, who guided the company past several key integration milestones, strategic acquisitions and internal reorganization. Gilligan would remain with the company in an advisory role through March.

FASTNET Appoints New Chairman and President

FASTNET Corporation said Thursday, February 20 that it had appointed R. Barry Borden, a member of the company's board since January of 2000, to the position of Chairman and president.

Level 3 Appoints New Director

Level 3 Communications announced on Tuesday, February 18 that it had appointed John T. Reed, a director of merchant bank McCarthy Group, Inc. and chairman of HMG Properties, to its board, bringing the total number of directors to 13.

NaviSite Elects Three New Board Members

NaviSite announced in early February that it had elected three new members to the company's board as of January 27, 2003. The new members included James H. Dennedy, president of Strategic Software Holdings; Kenneth A. MacAlpine, president of KIF Capital Corporation; and Jim Pluntze, CFO of Lanthorn Technologies.

NetScaler Appoints Senior VP of Sales

Web traffic control system developer NetScaler Inc. said Friday, February 12 that it had appointed Sheen G. Khoury as the company's senior vice president of worldwide sales, in order to develop strategic relationship sand expand sales channels worldwide.

BlueStar Expands Executive Team

Application outsourcing provider BlueStar Solutions said Monday, February 10 that it had promoted long-time employees Derek L. Howard and William K. Augustadt to the positions of vice president of operations, and vice president and CTO, respectively.

January 2003

Internap Names New Chief Financial Officer

Internap Network Services Corporation announced on Friday, January 24 that it had appointed former GE executive Robert R. Jenks as its chief financial officer. At GE, Jenks was responsible for private equity investment in the communications industry.

Electric Mail Appoints New President

Business email service provider The Electric Mail Company Inc. said Wednesday, January 22 that it had appointed Ian McDonald president of the company. McDonald joined the company as VP of sales in August 2000.

Savvis Announces Executive Appointment

Managed IP and hosting service provider SAVVIS Communications said on Tuesday, January 21 that it had appointed Grier C. Raclin as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, making him responsible for the company's legal and regulatory functions.

Choice One Appoints VP of Sales

Choice One Communications Inc. said Tuesday, January 16 that it had appointed Terry Nulty as the company's vice president of sales. Nulty was formerly president of business and technology e-learning solution provider Element K.

Mercury Interactive Names New VP

Mercury Interactive said Wednesday, January 15 that it had appointed David Murphy to the position of vice president of corporate development. In the role, he will be responsible for investments and acquisitions driving the company's non-organic growth.

VitalStream Names Charlie Lyons Director

Digital broadcasting solutions provider VitalStream Inc. announced on Tuesday, January 14 that it had elected broadcasting veteran Charlie Lyons to its board of directors. Lyons recently co-founded an entertainment company and signed a 5-year partnership with Disney.

Cable & Wireless Appoints Chairman

Cable & Wireless said Friday, January 10 that it had appointed Richard Lapthorne to the position of non-executive chairman. Sir Ralph Robbins would retire as chairman, as first announced in May of 2002, but would remain as non-executive director until February 28, 2003.

Linux company Red Hat Inc. announced on Wednesday, January 8 that it had appointed Tom Rabon as the company's executive vice president of corporate affairs, making him responsible for leading the company's government affairs and public policy initiatives.

Data center operator Peak 10 said on Tuesday, January 7 that it had appointed industry veteran Debra Curtiss as vice president and general manager of the company's Tampa Bay operation, making her responsible for leading business development and customer service efforts.

Terremark Announces Executive Appointment

Terremark Worldwide Inc. said on Tuesday, January 7 that it had appointed Arthur L. Money to lead its covernment division, making him responsible for directing the company's strategy for selling its products and services to the US government.

Conxion Appoints Senior Vice President

Conxion Corporation said on Monday, January 6 that it had appointed William Dyer senior vice president of sales and marketing. He would work closely with the executive team on corporate strategy as the company continued to expand its product and customer bases.
