Dutch Researchers Suggest US Patriot Act Could Apply to European Cloud Providers

Cloud data, regardless of where it is stored, is subject to the US Patriot Act, a new report suggests

December 7, 2012 — Organizations that trust Dutch cloud providers to keep their data safe from the US government should be wary, new research out of the University of Amsterdam suggests.
