At HostingCon in Austin, Steve Lesem, CEO of cloud storage software firm Mezeo (www.mezeo.com) sat down with WHIR editor Liam Eagle to talk about the company’s new Mezeo Ready program for a WHIR TV segment.
The Mezeo Ready program is a fairly new project for the company, designed to certify partners and their products as compatible with the company’s cloud storage platform. The idea being that if you’re a hosting provider operating a storage cloud built from Mezeo’s software, these “Mezeo Ready” products and tools often provide services you can easily plug into your own offering.
Lesem offers a couple of examples of companies whose participation in the program Mezeo announced during HostingCon, including CTERA and TwinStrata.
He also discusses, generally, the idea of cloud storage as a vehicle for introducing a whole range of new services into the hosting relationship.
