At HostingCon, WHIR editor Liam Eagle had an opportunity to talk to Chris Sheridan of eNom, and to create an interview segment for WHIR TV.
The first subject discussed was the domain wholesaler’s recently-established partnership with VeriSign, through which eNom will sell that company’s new Trust Seal product – a kind of accompaniment to SSL, but aimed at an audience that just wants identity verification without the encryption.
Sheridan also discussed eNom’s work with the .tv domain, which includes offering standard .tv domain registrations, along with premium .tv domains.
Finally, he talked about the launch of the .co domain, referring particularly to how the .co domain has been repositioned by the registry to be not just the ccTLD for Columbia, but to work as a more universal TLD.
