Yesterday I wrote about SingleHop’s exciting third quarter results, which had most of the company jumping for joy… out of an airplane as it turns out. SingleHop was kind enough to send over some pictures and a video.
As a special note to those who believe in the managed hosting provider’s dapper mascot Poindexter: Yes, he is real, but he can’t be everywhere at once, so he has one of his helpers dress up like him. One of them happened to be a stunt skydiver, who dropped more than 14,000 feet as part of the company’s festivities. SingleHop communications vice president Dan Salcedo informed me that he had some qualms about wearing the Pointdexter costume, noting (in paraphrase), “This thing is going to choke me as I fall at 120mph. Ah, who cares its only for a minute.”
