We’re expanding our Penton Technology Channel leadership team to help meet your information needs with even more great editorial coverage, eLearning and events.

I’d like to introduce you to the newest member of the team, TC Doyle. As Senior Content Director he will oversee Penton Technology’s market-leading Channel brands, The WHIR, Web Hosting Talk, The VAR Guy, MSPmentor, and Talkin’ Cloud.

A veteran technology writer, editor and video storyteller who has covered the IT industry for more than two decades, Doyle was previously the formerly Executive Editor of IT and cloud for Channel Partners magazine. He was also Editor@Large with Cisco, for whom he ghostwrote “Doing Both,” a best-selling thought leadership book. He traveled the world for Cisco in search of stories that captured the social and technological transformations occurring in the economies of Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. A former analyst with Amazon Consulting, Doyle previously worked as the Executive Editor of VARBusiness Magazine. He has been a frequent speaker at IT industry events and trade shows.

Doyle brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Channel team and he’ll work closely with Editor in Chief Nicole Henderson, who leads The WHIR editorial team. Doyle will join Henderson as a frequent contributor to The WHIR and our other Channel brands, speak at our events such as HostingCon and Channel Directions Live, and he’ll also be reaching out to many of you to talk about our ambitious plans for new Channel coverage, executive insights, research, eLearning and events.

In the months ahead Doyle and Henderson will also be seeking your feedback and recommendations for how we can make our Channel brands even better. For VARs, we’re especially interested in hearing about your business management know-how needs, new eLearning topics, and partnership opportunities. Feel free to connect with Doyle at
