New WHIR tv Clip With Shawn Colo – a Preview of Parallels Keynote

On Friday, Larissa posted a new WHIR tv clip – an interview I conducted with Shawn Colo, co-founder and head of M&A at Demand Media – that is particularly notable, from my point of view, for a couple of reasons:

WHIR tv interviews Shawn Colo, co-founder of Demand Media

First of all, it’s the first of a series of interviews I’ve done, and will be doing, for WHIR tv. I’m pretty excited about doing some work for that part of the WHIR. I think the few I’ve already shot are really interesting, and I’m looking forward to doing more.

I’m actually heading over to the offices of Tucows to sit down with CEO Elliot Noss this afternoon, and discuss the tenth anniversary, which the company is in the process of recognizing. And we’ll all be shooting some cool video footage at the Parallels Summit next week. So keep an eye out for more cool new stuff on the WHIR tv front.

The mention of Parallels Summit leads me to my second point, which is that the Shawn Colo interview is a bit of a preview of the keynote presentation we’ll be doing at the Parallels show. It’s scheduled for Tuesday, Februrary 23, at 12:20 p.m. (the event schedule is right here). The session is Shawn’s, and the subject is Demand Media, generally. I’ll be participating as a kind of interviewer, a role in which I’m quite comfortable. It’s a bit of a shake-up of the PowerPoint presentation format, and I think it’ll be pretty cool.

I just wanted to let you know that if you want to get a look at a Preview of Shawn’s keynote session, there’s a pretty good taste (and a pretty good interview in and of itself) available on WHIR tv.
