Today’s video features Ryan Murphey, Vice President of facilities and data center operations.
Murphey takes us through what will eventually be the PEER 1 data center in Toronto. This is WHIR tv’s third installment of our ongoing series; “The Building of a Data Center” and so far we’ve seen it develop from an empty shell to a full blown work in progress. Within the next couple of months we’ll see the data center really start to take shape as the raised floors will be installed as well as the skeletons for the many pods housed within its walls.
The advancement of construction will be impressive and interesting as we will continue to document what goes into building a state of the art facility in 2009.
