HostingCon 2009: Follow Along on the WHIR

HostingCon begins next Monday (August 10), as anyone who is attending – and many people who are not attending – is more than likely aware by now.

As we did last year, the WHIR is sending our entire editorial team, along with a smattering of sales and business development folks, to Hosting Con this year.

The general idea is that we produce a kind of blanket coverage that enables our readers to experience the breadth of content at HostingCon. Obviously, that’s useful if you aren’t able to attend. But I expect it’ll be useful even if you are able to attend, since it’s not possible to attend all four tracks at once.

That coverage begins today, as we start previewing the event through Q&A interviews with presenters from a selection of sessions, the first of which I’ll have up shortly.

And, of course, you can follow along on the event-specific feed we’ll be keeping up. It’s going to look a little sparse for the first day or two (which may not be a problem depending on when you look at this). But by the end of the event, it should look a little more like this.

So keep an eye on the WHIR’s HostingCon 2009 feed, and hopefully we’ll see you next week at the event.

ONE MORE THING: you can follow @theWHIR on twitter to get further updates. And you can follow me, @liameagle, too. I’ve posted worthwhile things here and there.
