Hire An Attorney-Hire a Salesman

Help Wanted: Attorney with commercial or government contract experience. Knowledge of government bidding processes a must.  Bar Membership preferred but not required. 1-5 Years Experience.

You should be able to hire an attorney and possibly one with executive sales experience.   The market for young attorney is soft, and so are the salary levels.

In trying to read the $790 billion stimulus bill, it became apparent I could not do it. It wasn’t the 1,000 pages that got me, it was the complexity and references to a thousand other bills that makes it impossible.

There is a great amount of government spending coming down the pike. The government wants all this digital on line stuff.  It needs WHIR people.

THERE HAVE BEEN TIMES when small companies became great and large because they aggressively went after government contracts. This is one of those times. Somewhere in our WHIR universe, you or someone like you will take advantage of this. Today it is an open road, you have little competition, and you have the opportunity to take the lead.

A quick review:

Stimulus Bill: $780 billion

Omnibus Spending Bill: $410 billion  - 9000 Pork projects they all need some on-line data.

US Proposed Budget: $3.6 Trillion

You need someone that can tear apart legislation, determine where you have the best odds and best profitability.  Someone who can identify primary bidders, ones that will win and those that need you the ones you need to align yourself with.

You need someone that can research this landscape.

You need to bid on a piece of the sky.
