Don’t Mess with Texas: WHIR Networking Events Kicks Off 2016 in Austin

Add Your Comments

The WHIR kicked off its 2016 season of WHIR Networking Events on Thursday in Austin, TX, one of our favorite cities to visit! The mix of data center, SaaS, security, hosting and cloud professionals made for the perfect crowd for a night full of productive networking and of course a lot of fun.

An open bar and scrumptious snacks were generously provided by our sponsors SoftLayer – an IBM Company and Lenovo, who also gave away some fantastic prizes to two lucky attendees.

Byron Hogon of Help.com won a Roku player from SoftLayer – an IBM Company, while Keith Miersma of OnRamp won a Yoga tablet from Lenovo.

Without the support of our sponsors these events would not be possible so we are grateful to them for helping us continue to host these amazing networking opportunities!

We won’t be back to Texas until December 2016 when we’ll be in Dallas, but we have a number of events coming up soon, and they’re all free to attend. Our next stop is in Phoenix, AZ, on Feb. 18, 2016. RSVP today!
