Solve Domain Routing Issues with Visual Dig Tool

Reference | from inmotionhosting.com | in , | by Brian Flores

This domain routing lookup tool graphically shows any domain name issues or domain routing issues you may be having. It works by first performing a lookup using the dig command for your domain’s nameservers. It then loops through each nameserver individually and digs each of them for all of the A and MX records listed for your domain. It also does a reverse lookup on the IP addresses found and shows you the servers’ hostname. Finally, it draws an image to show how each nameserver routes your traffic.
