Backups can be really important at Crucial times as you never know when would your server face problem. Hence, it is really necessary that you have a Backup for your MSSQL Database on your Windows Dedicated servers which would help you to get rid of all problems when the server faces problems and you loose your MSSQL Database on Windows Dedicated server.nFor having Backups for your MSSQL Server you will have to make sure that the Backup files are generated on time on Regular basis and the Directories are Backed up with Remote Data Backups which you should have for your MSSQL Database. You can schedule the MSSQL Database to generate backup files from the below link :-n1. Right Click and Select “All Tasks” after you login to your MSSQL Database.n2. Then Select “Backup Database”.n3. SQL is configured to Select “Database – Complete” by Default.n4. If you do not want to do this you can select “Database – Differential”.n5. Generally, the Destination chosen by many users to save the SQL Backup file is “C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\BACKUP”.n6. Now, Double Click on the given default path and add “sqlbackup.bak” to the Existing Path.n7. Then Click OK.n8. Now, to Schedule backups select the “Schedule” option.n9. Once done, Click “…” option.n10. Now you will find a Recurring option i.e. Radio option. Click the option and Select “Change” option right after you do that.n11. Select the Time on which you would like to have the backup with the Schedule of the Backup.nNote :- You will have to enter the Time on which you would like to have the Backup Directory Created and also specificy if you wish to have the Backup Directory Created Daily, Weekly or Monthly.n12. Now click “OK” on Each Dialogue box and proceed.n13. You can also check if the Backup time and the Backups to be taken are Scheduled Successfully through “C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\BACKUP” Directory.n14. Now, In the Remote Data Backups only Select the SQL Backup Directory and you are done.
