nnTHE TERM cloud computing has been around for many years. Some would argue that the meaning is very murky or perhaps, (pun intended) because it has been used to mean different things by different people.nAnd indeed cloud computing can rightly be used to describe a wide variety of services. But one thing that all these permutations of cloud computing have in common is that they refer to the hosting of data or applications on remote servers that can be accessed through the Internet.nCloud computing first came to prominence during the height of the dot-com boom in 1999-2000.
